ABOUT WORLDWISE
WORLDWISE Travellers Health and Vaccination Centres has been operating since early 1996 and currently has clinics in Auckland, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Whakatane and Christchurch.
WORLDWISE is a service dedicated to providing current travel health information with vaccination advice and service to travellers and health professionals.
Our aim is to help prevent and reduce the incidence of illness whilst travelling and, in doing so, create for the traveller a sense of reassurance in their ability to protect their health, safety and security.
We are New Zealand’s first such centres providing full-time dedicated medical care for:
- Pre and post travel health advice for individuals and renowned humanitarian, corporate, media and school groups
- Emergency medical advice and assistance for New Zealanders on their travels as well as international travellers to New Zealand.
- Companies wanting vaccination for health-in-the-workplace requirements. We cover all vaccines as required by companies (including Q-Fever and Flu programs). We travel throughout the country to provide this service.
- Marine, Dive and Immigration medicals.
- The New Zealand Sports Academy - Travel health advisors.
WORLDWISE receives up to the minute information on all travel health concerns from around the world. All the information is validated by New Zealand sources in travel medicine, to ensure accuracy for the traveller. Our ability to tailor advice to each individual and their specific journey allows us to provide individualised health advice, whether travelling to a country with poor medical facilities, or simply just concerned about the dangers of exposure to the sun. A comprehensive range of medications and vaccines including Yellow Fever, are stocked for immediate availability.
WORLDWISE has links to international travel health
organisations in the US, UK, Australia and Switzerland, and national
health advisory services in New Zealand.
WORLDWISE gives
information daily to Government Services, Health Professionals, and
individuals throughout the country via our online subscription service.
WORLDWISE provides regular clinical update seminars to Doctors, Nurses, and other clinical organisations including the armed forces.
